Structured data on Shopify product pages
Most Shopify themes put a Product block on each product page with the name, price and availability. The attributes an assistant matches on are usually missing from it.
What the theme gives you
A JSON-LD Product with the name, description, image, brand, SKU and an Offer with price, currency and availability, written by the theme and kept current by Shopify. That is enough for a rich result in search. It says nothing about material, fit, colour or pattern, and it does not carry the questions a shopper asks.
Where it goes wrong
A customised theme whose markup fell out of step with the page. An app that added a second Product block, so the page states two prices. Variant facts stated on the parent. Each one gives a crawler a reason to trust the page less, and none of them shows up in the admin.
What Sighted does
Sighted's theme app extension adds the attributes it wrote, from the approved product data, to the product page's structured data, without editing your theme's Liquid; you switch it on in the theme editor like any app block. The same builder produces the Schema.org export, so the page and the feeds state the same facts, and the scan checks each page's markup for the mismatches above.
